Group training classes are fun for the whole family. We have classes for every type of dog from wee pups to adult dogs of all shapes and sizes, beginning obedience for the novice dog, agility, tricks, and fun and games. Classes are held for one hour once per week for several weeks. Basic classes meet once per week for six or seven weeks, shorter special topic classes generally meet for three weeks. Your puppy will learn how to sit, down, come, sit to greet people, stay, and more, with plenty of off-leash puppy playtime in between. We'll cover socialization, housetraining and nipping too. NEXT CLASS STARTS EVERY Sunday at 10:30am This 6 week class is "open enrollment" which means you may join us when you and your puppy are ready. Once you start, you'll come every Sunday for the next six Sundays. No more waiting for a class to start-join us whenever you like, as long as your pup is under 5 months old. Price for the 6-week class is $160. The single most important skill your dog needs to know. We'll get your dog coming to you even if his head's in the trash can. You'll go home with the tools you need to take it further on your own. Class meets once per week for 4 weeks. Fundamentals or equivalent prerequisite required. NEXT CLASS STARTS Saturday May 5 at 10:30am Price for the 4-week class is $115. Three weeks of work on everyone's favorite quality in their dog: his persistent pulling. We'll do tons of exercises to teach your puller that 'next to you' is the place to be. Class meets once per week for 4 weeks. Fundamentals or equivalent prerequisite required. NEXT CLASS STARTS Saturday May 5 at 12:00pm Price for the 4-week class is $115. This is a basic obedience class for puppies ages 4-8 months old. We'll teach the basics, interspersed with a healthy dose of off-leash play. Pups will learn how to play with other puppies while still attending to their people: a huge challenge at this age! And now that they're not baby puppies anymore, it's really time to get rid of the nipping, chewing, jumping up, and housetraining problems. We cover body handling, calming, and socialization as well. NEXT CLASS STARTS Sunday April 15 at 12:00pm Price for the 6-week class is $160. Introduce your dog to the basics of obedience training and manners. We'll cover the classics, giving your dog a solid foundation on which to build. Sit, down, come, stay, leave it, walk nicely on leash, wait at the door and more. Fun and games included! We'll take the basics to the next level, helping to teach your dog how to perform amidst distractions. We'll cook up lots of real life scenarios to mimic the pizza guy at the door and the goose poop on the lawn. Class meets once per week for 6 weeks. FUNdamentals or equivalent prerequisite required. Agility helps to develop a puppy's confidence (helping to prevent fear), impulse control (helps pup control himself, handy for nipping, etc), focus (the master weapon against distractedness), ability to work with his or her person, and recall. And it's super fun too. And since this class is for pups ages 4-9 months, we include off-leash playtime to continue that all-important socialization. NEXT CLASS STARTS soon!
